madebygps My general thought (knowing nothing really about the influencer marketing market) is that it is a classic inefficient market: "influencers" with large followings may not know what they are worth and brands that want to tap into those followings and might not know how.

madebygps So how can you make it easy for someone to monetize themselves without a bunch of middleware (agents, agencies, negotiations, etc) If there were a marketplace for buyers and sellers to come together then (in theory) you could make it more efficient.

madebygps And if *I* were doing it I would focus on: transparency, trust, and optimization. I think that as influencer marketing grows, it will have a greater impact the more transparent it is - because we're all wary of it.

madebygps Also I think (in theory) this could help protect people from predatory folks on either side. But that may be too "high" of a goal I don't know. And again that's in knowing _nothing_ about this space to be honest.
